These terms apply to anyone who registers as a service provider on BUY.net.pk, as an individual or a company. They are in addition to the terms and conditions and the marketplace rules. By submitting a provider profile you accept them.
1. Your relationship with BUY.net.pk
- You are an independent business. You are not our employee, agent, partner or contractor, and you may not say or suggest that you work for BUY.net.pk.
- We provide a place to show your services and receive requests. We do not promise any number of requests, bookings or earnings.
- The agreement to do a job is between you and the customer. You are responsible for the work, the people you bring, your tools and materials, and any loss or damage you cause.
2. Your profile
- Use your real name or registered business name, a phone number you answer, and the city and areas you actually cover.
- List only services you are able and, where the law requires it, licensed to perform. Electrical, gas, medical, legal, security and similar regulated work must be done by properly qualified people.
- Photos of past work must be your own. Experience, team size and qualifications must be true.
- New and changed profiles are reviewed before they appear. We may ask for documents, edit a category, or decline or remove a profile or a service.
3. Verification
You may apply for verification by sending identity and business documents. The badge states what we checked and nothing more; it is explained on the verification page. Documents must be genuine and your own. A false document leads to permanent removal.
4. Requests and quotations
- A customer's request may be sent to several providers in the category and area. Reply only to requests you can really take on.
- A quotation must state the price, what it includes and excludes (materials, transport, visit charges), whether it is fixed, hourly or an estimate, and when you can do the work.
- If you need to see the job before giving a firm price, say so and call your figure an estimate.
- Keep quotations and agreed changes in the BUY.net.pk chat so that both sides have a record.
- Do not use a customer's contact details or address for anything except that request.
5. Bookings
- When a customer accepts your quotation, a booking is created. Arrive at the agreed time, or tell the customer early if you are delayed.
- Do the work as quoted. If the job turns out to be different, explain and agree a new price before continuing, not after.
- If you must cancel, do it through the booking as early as possible and give the reason. Repeated late cancellations and no-shows lead to restrictions.
- Mark the booking as completed when the work is done. The customer may then leave a review.
6. Payment
- The customer pays you directly. BUY.net.pk does not collect, hold or guarantee payment for services, and there is no escrow.
- Do not demand full payment in advance. For larger jobs, a reasonable deposit for materials and staged payments against finished work are acceptable if the customer agrees in the chat.
- Give a receipt when asked.
- You are responsible for your own taxes and any registration your business requires.
7. Conduct and safety
- Treat customers and their homes with respect. Harassment, intimidation, theft or unsafe work will result in removal and, where appropriate, a report to the police.
- Send only people you trust and can identify. You are responsible for anyone who works under your profile.
- Follow basic safety practice for your trade and do not leave a job in a dangerous state.
- Do not ask customers to move the conversation off the site in order to avoid these terms.
8. Reviews
- Only customers with a completed booking can review you. You may reply to a review once, politely and factually.
- Do not write, buy, trade or pressure anyone for reviews, and do not review competitors.
- We remove reviews that are abusive, false or unrelated to the booking. We do not remove a review only because it is negative.
9. Complaints and disputes
If a customer raises a dispute about a booking, we may ask both sides for their account and the chat record. We can remove content, restrict a profile or note the outcome on our records. We are not a court: we do not decide who owes money and we cannot make either side pay. You agree to answer our questions about a dispute within a reasonable time.
10. Paid plans and promotion
Being listed and receiving requests may be free or subject to a plan, as shown on the pricing page when you register. Sponsored placement, where offered, is labelled. Payments to BUY.net.pk are covered by the refund policy.
11. Suspension and removal
We may hide, restrict or remove a provider profile for breach of these terms, for complaints we find credible, for false information or documents, for inactivity, or where the law requires. You may deactivate your profile at any time; open bookings should be completed or cancelled first.
12. Liability
You are responsible for your services and for any claim by a customer or third party arising from them, and you agree to cover losses we suffer because of your work or your breach of these terms. The limits of our own liability in the terms and conditions apply to providers too.
13. Changes, law and contact
