BUY.net.pk has three sides: buying, selling and hiring. This page walks through each one from start to finish.
Create your account
Register with your mobile number or email. We send a one-time code (OTP) to confirm it is really yours. A confirmed phone number gives your profile the "Phone verified" badge. Choose your city so that searches and the home page show what is near you; you can change the city at any time.
Buying
- Search or browse. Pick a category, then narrow by city, area, price and the filters of that category, such as brand, model or number of rooms.
- Read the whole ad. Look at every photo, the description, the seller's badges and how long the seller has been a member.
- Contact the seller. Start a chat from the ad. If the seller allows calls, you can ask to see the phone number after you log in.
- Make an offer. Where offers are enabled you can send a price in the chat. The seller can accept, decline or send a counter offer. An offer that gets no answer expires after 72 hours.
- Meet, check, then pay. Inspect the item in a public place before any money changes hands. BUY.net.pk does not collect or hold payments for items.
Save ads you like, and save a search to be notified when new matching ads are posted.
Selling
- Start a new ad. Add photos first if you can. The AI ad creator can read them and draft a title, category and description for you to correct.
- Fill in the details. Each category asks its own questions. Honest, complete details bring serious buyers.
- Set price and contact. Choose a fixed or negotiable price, and decide whether buyers may chat, call or send offers.
- Submit. Most ads go live quickly. Some wait for a short review, and you get a notification either way. If we need a change, the ad comes back with a note that says what to fix.
- Manage it. From your account you can edit, pause, renew or mark the ad as sold. An ad stays live for 45 days.

Hiring a service
- Describe the job. Choose the service, your city and area, and write what you need. Photos help.
- Receive quotations. Providers who cover your area can reply with a price and when they can come.
- Choose one. Compare the quotations, look at each provider's profile and badges, and accept the one you want. That creates a booking.
- Pay the provider directly when the work is done as agreed. BUY.net.pk does not take payment for services.
- Leave a review. Only customers with a completed booking can review a provider.
Business stores
A shop, dealer or agency can open a business store. A store has its own page with all its ads, a higher free ad limit (30 live ads), staff accounts, bulk upload and reports on views and enquiries. A store can apply for the "Business verified" badge by sending business documents.
Staying safe
Most people on BUY.net.pk are honest, but scammers try every marketplace. Never send advance payment, never share an OTP, and keep the conversation in the BUY.net.pk chat where it can be reported. The safety center lists the common scams in Pakistan and how to avoid them.
