Writing a good ad takes time, and many people give up halfway. The AI ad creator does the first draft for you. You stay in control: nothing is published until you have read it, corrected it and pressed submit.
What it does
- From photos: add photos of your item and the AI suggests a title, the most likely category, a description, and details it can read, such as brand, colour or a model name printed on the item or the box.
- From a few words: type or dictate a short line, for example "Haier 1.5 ton inverter AC, 2 saal purana, Lahore", and the AI turns it into a structured draft.
- Improve a draft: ask it to rewrite the description more clearly, or tell it what to change and it updates the draft.
Each suggestion is shown next to the form. You accept it, edit it or ignore it.
Read from the photo, or needs your answer
The draft separates two kinds of information.
- Read from the photo: facts the AI could actually see, such as a storage size printed on a box label.
- Please confirm: facts that cannot be known from a picture. These are clearly marked, and the matching form field stays empty until you answer.
What the AI will not claim
By design, the AI ad creator never states the following as fact, because a photo cannot prove them:
- that you own the item;
- the PTA status of a phone;
- the mileage of a vehicle, or whether it has been in an accident;
- battery health, remaining warranty or whether an item has been repaired;
- whether a branded item is genuine;
- the overall condition of the item.
You are asked to declare these yourself, and they appear on the ad as seller-declared details.
Its limits
- It can be wrong. It may confuse similar models, misread a label in a blurred photo or choose a category that is close but not right. Check every line.
- It only knows what you show it. Faults that are not visible, missing accessories and the item's history will not be in the draft unless you add them.
- Price hints are rough. If a price suggestion is shown, treat it as a starting point and compare it with similar ads in your city.
- It does not approve ads. An AI-drafted ad goes through the same checks and moderation as any other ad.
- It has daily limits. Each account can use the AI a limited number of times per day so that the service stays available to everyone. When the limit is reached, or the AI is switched off for maintenance, you can still post the normal way.
You are responsible for the ad
The draft is a suggestion. Once you submit, the ad is yours, and it must be accurate and follow the marketplace rules. "The AI wrote it" is not a defence for a misleading ad.
Tips for a better draft
- Use clear photos in good light, with the whole item in the first one.
- Include a photo of the label, the box or the model number.
- For phones and electronics, a photo of the settings or "About" screen helps the AI read the exact model and storage.
- Do not upload photos of people, ID cards or documents with personal numbers.
Your privacy
- The photos and text you submit for a draft are sent to our configured AI provider, at present OpenAI, to produce the suggestions. They are processed on the provider's servers, which may be outside Pakistan.
- We send only the content of the draft, not your name, phone number or account details.
- We record that a request was made, when, and what it cost, to manage limits and prevent abuse.
- Using the AI is optional. If you would rather not send photos to an AI service, fill in the form yourself.
