If an ad looks wrong, report it. It takes a few seconds and helps everyone.
When to report
- It looks like a scam: asks for advance payment, a price too good to be true, a seller "abroad".
- The item is prohibited (see restricted and prohibited items).
- The item is already sold, or the same ad is posted many times.
- It is in the wrong category, or the photos or details are false.
- It is offensive.
How
- Open the ad and choose Report.
- Pick the reason that fits best.
- Add a short note if it helps, for example what the seller asked you for.
What happens next
- The report goes to our moderation team. The ad may be removed, sent back to the seller for correction, or left in place if we find nothing wrong.
- Your report is confidential. The seller is not told who reported the ad.
- We may not be able to tell you the outcome in every case, but every report is read.
Please report honestly. Using reports to attack a competitor is itself a breach of the rules.
