A one-time code (OTP) confirms it is really you when you register, log in from a new device or change important details. Depending on how you registered, it is sent to your email, your WhatsApp or both.
If the code does not arrive
- Wait a minute, then ask for a new code. There is a short pause between requests.
- Check that the number or email shown on the screen is correct.
- Email: look in the spam or promotions folder.
- WhatsApp: make sure WhatsApp is active on that number and the phone is online.
- Use the newest code only. An older code stops working when a new one is sent, and every code expires after a few minutes.
- After too many requests, codes are paused for a while for security. Try again later.

Keep codes secret
- Nobody from BUY.net.pk will ever ask for your code, by call, chat or email.
- A buyer or seller never needs your code for any reason.
- If you receive a code you did not ask for, someone may be trying to get into your account. Do not share it, and change your password.
