An ad stays live for 45 days from the day it is published. This keeps old, sold items from filling the site.
Before it expires
We send a reminder shortly before the expiry date. If the item is still available, renew the ad from your account to give it a new period.
After it expires
An expired ad is no longer shown to buyers, but it stays in your account under Expired. Renew it from there. You do not need to type it again.
Things to know
- Renewing is free while you are within your free ad limit.
- A renewed ad counts as one of your live ads again.
- Check the price and photos when you renew. An ad that did not sell at the old price will usually not sell at it a second time.
- If we see an ad renewed many times without change, we may ask you to update it.
- A promotion such as Featured has its own end date and is not extended by renewing the ad.
