Make, counter or accept an offer

Chat & offers Updated: 8 October 2026

An offer is a price sent through the chat that the other person can answer with one tap. It is clearer than haggling in messages, and both sides have a record of what was agreed.

Buyers

  1. Open the chat for the ad and choose to make an offer. Offers are available when the seller has allowed them.
  2. Enter your price and, if you like, a short note.
  3. Wait for the seller to accept, decline or send a counter offer. You can withdraw your offer while it is still waiting.

Sellers

  • Accept if the price works for you.
  • Counter with your own price. The buyer can then accept, decline or counter again.
  • Decline politely if it is too low.

Good to know

  • An offer that gets no answer expires after 72 hours.
  • An accepted offer is an agreement on price between two people. It is not a payment, and BUY.net.pk does not hold money. Arrange to meet, check the item and pay at the handover.
  • After an accepted offer, the buyer may leave the seller a review.
  • Make only offers you mean. Repeated fake offers can lead to a restriction.
